"This job has been given to me to do. Therefore, it is a gift. Therefore, it is a privilege. Therefore, it is an offering I may make to God. Therefore, it is to be done gladly, if it is done for Him. Here, not somewhere else, I may learn God's way. In this job, not in some other, God looks for faithfulness." (Elisabeth Elliot)

My Morning Transformation: Day Two

3:45 AM -- Sammy woke up.  Daddy changed his diaper and I attempted to try to nurse him back to sleep, but was unsucessful.
4:30 AM -- We resorted to our back-up strategy of driving him around in the car to encourage him to go back to sleep.  Daddy agreed to do the drive and even filled up my gas tank so I could rest a few more moments.
5:15 AM -- I didn't really fall back to sleep, but resting my eyes helped.  My alarm went off and I pumped my other side before heading out for my jog.  My men, fast asleep.
5:45 AM -- Jogged the same route as yesterday around the pond and back.  My rhythmn and breathing improved.

6:15 AM -- Returned home, got ready for the day and sat down for breakfast, this time with my Bible.  Focused my reading on Ezra 10 as I reflected on my pastor's sermon on the cycle of redemption on Wednesday evening (appauled - ashamed - humbled - hopeful - activity).
6:45 AM -- I ironed my clothes and prepared my pumping equipment the night prior so when Sammy woke up I was able to nurse him a second time!  What a blessing to both of us.
7:05 AM -- Sammy didn't really fall back to sleep, but Daddy day care was ready to take over so I could finish getting ready.  Pumped.
7:20 AM -- Took the tollway while I drank another glass of water on the way in the car.  I could really get used to this schedule!  Still got 6 1/2 hours of uninterupted sleep, so I'm content.
