"This job has been given to me to do. Therefore, it is a gift. Therefore, it is a privilege. Therefore, it is an offering I may make to God. Therefore, it is to be done gladly, if it is done for Him. Here, not somewhere else, I may learn God's way. In this job, not in some other, God looks for faithfulness." (Elisabeth Elliot)

35 Pounds Lighter

The past few weeks I haven't had the opportunity to jog or go to the gym, but taking care of Sammy while Tim was preparing for his comp exams was just as good for me, especially when Sammy is ~22 pounds of energetic love! I'm happy to announce I'm 35 pounds lighter and excited to recommit the next 10 weeks to preparing for my 30th birthday goals.

I took this picture this morning to capture my progress. I'm down to 145 but would like to try to lose another 10 before I'm where I feel like I should be for a healthy weight. Many ladies have told me that while things will never quite be the same as they were pre-baby, I need to realistically give myself a year before I feel like I've "regained" my body.

I'm so happy with my progress, I weigh less today than when I got pregnant with little man.  What a great feeling!  PCOS, this mother is fighting back!
